The Bee Man of Wisconsin specializes in the control of bees, wasps and hornets. We have the knowledge, chemicals and specialized tools that are not available to the general public. As a matter of fact, most full service pest control companies have very little experience with bees, wasps and hornets. Our pricing is competitive and lower than most pest control companies in the area. We have been offering some of our services at no charge for over thirty years. Despite the fact that bees, wasps and hornets are, for the most part, beneficial to society, sometimes extermination is the only solution. The Bee Man of Wisconsin offers our customers the following services: Bee and Wasp Abatement, One Spot Treatment and Boxelder Bug/Asian Lady Beetle Abatement.
BEES, WASPS, HORNETS:
Bee and Wasp Abatement serves as a preventive service, but will continue to control the NESTING of stinging insects for the entire season. This service is best performed in the spring to early summer as this is when most species are nest building. The technician will insert a chemical dust into cracks and crevices of your home. Popular entrance points for bees and wasps are in soffits, eaves, under siding and openings around electric and plumbing lines. Any place that the technician feels is a good spot for them to get in and “set up housekeeping” is where he will insert the dust. Once this initial treatment is performed, your entire property is then guaranteed against NESTING of bees, wasps and hornets. We will return, at no charge, if you have any NESTING on your property. This guarantee remains in force until December 31st of the year the service is performed (the chemical stays active for about six months). Please understand we cannot stop them from flying around your property. However, if you have NO NESTS on your property, you will have fewer numbers flying around your property, making for a much nicer summer. Our One Spot Treatment is basically the same treatment as the Bee and Wasp Abatement, but we exterminate INDIVIDUAL NESTS and the guarantee only covers TREATED NESTS. Whether it is a visible nest or a nest hidden in a wall void, we guarantee that we will kill all TREATED NESTS. The nest will usually die within a few hours, but if the nest is still active after a day or two, simply call us and we will return at no charge. Please contact our office for more information.
Normally starting in July and continuing through the fall, when conditions are appropriate, we offer a service to remove bald-faced hornet nests. This service is done during night hours as all of the hornets are usually in the nest at this time. The hornets are used for scientific purposes. Please call our office for more information.
BOXELDER BUGS AND ASIAN LADY BEETLES:
The Boxelder Bug/Asian Lady Beetle Abatement is similar to the Bee and Wasp Abatement. It is a crack and crevice treatment, but the usual entrance points are different. We also use a different chemical. The major difference is that this abatement is only performed in fall, as this is when the insects seek a place to “overwinter.” While this service will prevent more than ninety percent of these pests from invading your home in the fall, we cannot eliminate them completely.
